The IIHF Arena Guide

This Guide is a collection of resources designed for anyone planning to build an ice rink. It is meant to aid in the decision-making process on what kind of ice rink to build. Four different types of projects are being compared, to help analyze the scope of each type of building, as well as the resources involved in building it, and the purposes different buildings can serve. Four types of projects are being analyzed with regards to four separate factors. The projects are divided in sizes from Small to XL. The 4 factors analyzed are Construction, Maintenance Issues, Financing requirements, and Environmental Considerations.

 

This guide offers an easy and readable format. It further offers plans as well as links and contacts to help you proceed in the process of building an ice rink in your community, your city, or your country.
